Empowering the Next Generation

Cybersecurity Awareness at Abhinav Public School

Overview

On November 22, 2025, Cyber-Paradox took a significant step toward building a safer digital future. Our team, led by speaker Mr. Prakash Mohite, conducted an intensive Cybersecurity Awareness Session for the students of Abhinav Public School and Jr. College, Kolwadi, Pune.

In an era where students are increasingly active online for both education and recreation, understanding the "Cyber Paradox"—the balance between digital convenience and digital risk—is more critical than ever.

Key Highlights of the Session

The workshop was designed to be interactive and age-appropriate, focusing on real-world scenarios that students encounter daily. Key topics included:

  • Social Media Safety: How to manage privacy settings and identify "fake profile" red flags.

  • The Art of Strong Passwords: Moving beyond birthdays and names to create unhackable credentials.

  • Phishing & Scams: Educating students on how to spot malicious links in emails, SMS, and gaming platforms.

  • Cyber-Bullying Awareness: Encouraging a culture of empathy and teaching students how to report online harassment.

  • Safe Browsing Habits: Best practices for using public Wi-Fi and downloading educational resources safely.
